iOS 14 Beta is Out: Its New Features

So, now in this post, I will show you a few notable features included on iOS 14. Now pay attention to this article and a few handy features added on iOS 14. iOS 14’s new look may be the most noticeable change. Enhancements in iOS 14 span everything from a faster, lighter way to quickly access apps for short-time use, to a powerful new translation tool, picture-in-picture video, new information relevant for cycling in Maps, and much more.

Call Notification

Call Notification

Apple finally completed a feature many iPhone users have been asking for: A minimized incoming call notification. After these iOS users will no longer use fullscreen for calls. In place the caller’s name will appear at the top of your screen, giving you the option to answer, decline, or simply swipe the notification away.

App Clip

iOS also added a new Apple app clip features to easily access applications quickly without downloading the full version from the app store. In place app clips are small, downloadable snippets that handle specific tasks like paying for parking or ordering from a food delivery service.

iOS 14: Message

If you are an old user of iOS you many know that iOS message has remained largely unchangeable over the years. However, finally, its getting added functionality with iOS 14. The changes include that now you can find your contact more easily than before.  With iOS 14, users will be able to pin messages at the top of the app, making it breeze to stay connected with important conversations. New features for group iMessages as well: in-line replies, mentions.

iOS 14: Home Screen

Home Screen

Widgets are flashy, but the App Library is the thing that represents the more fundamental shift for Apple. Widgets can be added to the home screen and customized for work, travel, fun, and whatever else you might need. They are available via the Today View, but can also be pulled out of Today View and onto the home screen. So, you can access these widgets through the Widget Gallery, with many different sizing options.

Picture-in-Picture Mode

Picture in Picture

So, iOS 14 also provides support for picture in picture, works very similar to the iPad encounter. Siri has a new interface that does not reach the entire screen. However, If you’re watching a clip on your iPhone but you need to switch to an app to respond to do something else, Apple’s new picture-in-picture mode means you don’t need to hit the pause button. By using iOS 14 you will become able to float your screen over your home screen.

iOS 14: Maps

So, Apple has several changes planned for Maps, including new Guides. The idea is that Apple will give you curated recommendations for places to eat and locations to explore in select cities. And also now you can choose and manage bicycle routes through a new cycling feature. Your cycling route will take into account elevation, how you can pass the street, and will tell you when you’re approaching stairs like that. However, the more exciting addition to Maps includes helping you get around in ways that minimize your carbon footprint.

Translate App

Apple always promises that with every new version it will bring a lot of changes. Moreover, I think this time by adding a translate app on iOS 14 it will deliver on its promise. A new Translate app will launch with iOS 14, offering translations — by voice or text — in 11 different languages. The app will work offline and use Apple’s Neural Engine. Therefore, Apple said turning your iPhone to landscape mode will start conversation mode, authorizing it to automatically detect which languages are being spoken.

App Library

Apple Library

The new App Library automatically organizes all of your apps into one simple, easy‑to‑navigate view. So, apps are sorted by category and your most-used apps are always just one tap away. In iOS 14, you can hide pages of apps you don’t use often, and a scroll to the right will let you access your new App Library. Moreover, there is also a new list view as well as features for sorting applications based on usage and more.
